Research
My scientific interest is in the design and analysis of algorithms and data structures. In particular, basic problems within or related to combinatorial pattern matching. I am part of the Algorithms and Logic group at DTU Informatics (see also announcements in the group).
- Algorithms for Compressed Data, grant 2012 from the Danish research council.
- Efficient String Matching Through Word-Level Parallelism (SWLP), grant for 2008-2010 from the Danish research council.
- Deep Structures, Singularities and Computer Vision (DSSCV), project member 2002-2005.
- Program Committees: ESA 2011, LATA 2011, SPIRE 2011
- Organizer: Summer school on algorithms for advanced processor architectures (AFAPA), ALGO 2009
- PhD students: Hjalte Wedel Vildhøj, Patrick Hagge Cording
Teaching
- Current course(s): 02283 Algorithms for Massive Data Sets.
- I supervise projects with substantial algorithmic flavor at all levels. For Bsc. and B. Eng. students the Search Engine Project (joint with Inge Li Gørtz) is available.
